This is brand new, never run, in perfect condition as shipped by the manufacturer. Kato did a superb job of painting and lettering this model.

The diagonal striping on the pilot, around the couplet pocket, is really well done and I doubt that it would be possible to do so well with descaling. Shipping flat rate as shown for shipping within the continental us.

I do not know what year Kato was producing these in japan. It is dcc ready. All of the parts and handrails are included in a plastic bag, with the Kato instructions, which was packaged under the Styrofoam carrier that holds the locomotive in the Kato box.

This is a complete model, untouched. I have duplicates of this and have a number of the other Kato nyc rs2 and rs3 model's.
