I have taken a close up of the diesel body which should show you that all parts are present including horns and rails. I did open three random locomotives and removed the couplet pockets which are there just for shipping put them on my test track. Buyer to pay return shipping.

For those of you running CDC systems the operating instructions do make reference to utilizing a decoder. I am listing over 15 sw8 diesel switchers. All of the switchers come complete with original warranty card, removal instructions and operating.

I have reproduced that page of the instructions as last picture. Although the colorful road units received more publicity, these switchers were among first widely known accepted diesel locomotives. They are sealed from the factory. Good luck and give them a home.

I am selling my entire collection over the next several months. While nearly identical in appearance, the real difference among these switchers was horsepower: sw8 rafted at 800 horsepower, sw9 900 horsepower and sw600 600.
