Details:

Both traction tires are present on powered truck wheels. All factory-installed detail parts are present as loco appears to have been very gently run for just a short while.

That's often the case with mantua engines. Take a look at the photo sand see what you think. Pardon any camera flash reflection. Loco was track-tested by me and it started slightly slower in both directions, but ran faster as warmed-up.

Still has original please remove for display cardboard cover inside box extra protection during shipping see first 3 photos. I will discount shipping for multiple items won from me on same day. The cardboard insert is also in excellent shape.

Road, stock T235G. It could probably use a good lube oil as has sat idle in the box for quite some time. Loco has factory-installed horn-hook couplets. The unopened detail parts kit baggie is included, containing paperwork and all metal handrails stanchions.

Priority mail shipping including delivery confirmation. PC nose logo is a little worn from sitting in cardboard insert for so long see 7th photo. Loco was manufactured by mantua for sister company Tyco.

Ultimately, i'd say it ran very well for this brand. So I would simply recommend a proper warming-up on the workbench before placing tracks. Price offered.

I'm selling the loco as is, of course. Number boards on both ends have factory-installed, which is very nice. I should also mention that when subsequently bench-tested the engine by running transformer wires directly to metal trucks, it instantly ran great very fast in both directions. As can be seen in last 3 photos, the brass plastic wheels are fairly clean and show only light wear.

The vintage red box is only mildly shelf-worn, and it remains in excellent solid condition for its age with window present intact - but detached loose. Headlight works and number boards light as well on short-hood end. Beautiful, ho scale mantua - Tyco penn central alco century 430 diesel locomotive, in excellent overall condition original red box.
