Details:

Loco is factory painted, in original box, with original foam and plastic packing. Engine has a working headlight, which also worked fine when tested. Loco is in like new condition, except for a chip of paint off the cab roof. Wheels show no sign of wear, so I think this one was taken out of the box, had a jade couplet installed on the tender, and was never run.

Shipped USPS insured. When tested the locomotive ran fine in both direction, with usual gear noise, but no hitches, stalling or hesitation. Original foam is in excellent condition, but I would remove engine for long term storage to insure against any foam damage. Vintage Gem ho Japanese brass reading class a 5 o 4 steam locomotive.

Looks like it's never been serviced since it left the factory sometime in the early to mid 60's, so definitely should be lubricated prior to putting in regular service. Original box is in excellent condition, no tears, writing or price stickers.
