I bought all that he had. These really were the rolls Royce for that time period. As I truly believe that these locomotives are in new condition have priced them a little higher than average but note am including free shipping on everything sell. This is not your fathers Athearn locomotive.

Some even come in the original cardboard sleeve. They all went up and down the test track multiple times, both forward in reverse. Theta all went down the test flawlessly.

Athearn introduced the Genesis line in I am not a dealer, just an old hoarder who has always loved hobby. The locomotive are immaculate. They were removed from the pristine boxes to place on test track and then take pictures. Their well-deserved slogan was as good to real it gets.

They run forever and with the exception of an occasional oiling require little to no maintenance. It was an entirely new approach to the somewhat mediocre line. They have been kept by me in a closed shelving unit an air-conditioned environment.

Give them a good home and enjoy. I assure you that the quality is there. The cosmetics are perfect and in my opinion one of most reliable durable locomotives out there. Not one failure.

Then were carefully and re-packed. They are to be considered part of the listing. I suspect that the ones have cardboard sleeves removed were to save space in shelving display. As I have said in some of my other listing accumulated a massive amount stock.

I have included many pictures which you should carefully inspect. As stated I have track tested everyone when removed them from the original packaging for pictures.

None of the boxes show any shelf wear and are pristine. They upped the motor and drive line to run as sweet smooth a Stewart jato. The boxes contain both unopened accessory packages and original instructions. I am almost positive that the Genesis line was readers choice best of in model railroader magazine when they were released.

Lights functioned if equipped properly in both directions.

Not only are they highly detailed, but the paint jobs immaculate. If I was not being forced by my wife to pare down the two locomotive manufacturers would keep be Genesis line and Stewart jato.
