Details:

It works OK, but if you wouldn't want it on when running the train, it could be simply disconnected. I purchased the cars individually and decided one day to make this all a matching set with these locos, so I custom painted the stripe on the car side panels to match the b o blue on them. I did add a couple of pictures to show the varied colors between them.

Please see the photos. Both are in excellent shape, and the powered unit ran OK when I tried it before putting it on to sell. This Athearn pa1 locomotive is powered, and the pb1 is an un powered dummy.

Inside the car. Sorry, I do not have any of the original boxes for any of these pieces, but I have packed them very safely into a single sturdy box for safe delivery, and future storage.
