As should known, these have many tiny and fragile handrails and parts, so it is what it is and could have broken or falling off parts. This engine came out around 2005 as part of the premium scale rtr locomotives with CDC plug that Athearn released. This is a Athearn ho scale elector motive diesel lease sd 60 emd diesel locomotive in rich red grey paint scheme and numbered 8301, all in the original box packaging with instructions.

The engine is an ho scale highly detailed plastic body with die cast metal frame, plastic and metal trucks wheels. The retail price of these units today starts at these are truly a mark of excellence.
The engine is previously owned and I call very good condition often time light use, it has been run and handled, sometimes some dust no charge, but does run correctly. It comes with all original box and instructions. I have this item with a price for the sincere buyer. Engine like this would make a nice addition to your layout or collection and this is a very nice looking one too.
Remember too enjoy your trains. It comes equipped with CDC plug ready, flywheel motor, operating mechanical knuckle couplets and conventional forward reverse with many nice features. Athearn did a superb job on the paint, graphics and details as can be seen in the photos.
