There is nothing missing, no foam problem in the box, and no reason to view this as anything other than as essentially new, in mint condition, as it came from the importer. I am not a dealer, simply a model railroader who has collected to many different locomotives from too many different roads, as happens to most of us. So, i've reduced the price.
Well, I took this model out of the box to test run and the coupling sleeve split. I've bought a couple that way myself. This is a traditional dc powered ho scale brass locomotive, hand made in japan.
I do not have any way to run locomotives other than for test as I do not have an operating layout.
