It looks great with the extra custom figures and accessories. It would make a great addition to your layout even if only for looks. I see no apparent flaws. Hopefully someone out there has the capability to resurrect this really unique loco.

My 70 year old eyes do not allow me to try fix them. There appears to be an alternate smoke stack and some wire railing in the box see picture. I discovered that the 2 rear truck drive shafts are disconnected. The motor ran and front wheels turned but, 2 trailing truck did not turn.

There are screw heads the size of a pin head. The extra custom figures make it impossible to place units properly in box, so I am wrapping them separately and shipping everything a separate box. The rear truck wheels seem to turn freely but, middle are restricted. I have the original box in NR-mt condition with protective plastic case.

Take another look at the pictures. The climax is marked dcc sound on board. I am not equipped for dcc, so tested it with a dc power pack on test track.

I am offering this very uniquely customized Bachmann Spectrum ho scale 70 ton 3 truck climax 9 of the cass scenic railroad. I heard sounds immediately and saw lights. No instructions.
