I highly recommend that this locomotive should be disassembled, cleaned and re-lubricated. Shipping is I will gladly combine items to save you money on postage and me time in packing. If you install couplets the couplet mounts are attached to trucks and swivel with them. The headlight and tail light work are on in both directions brightness varies with speed.

The mounts can be cut off and there is space to built up a pad attach couplets body. I tested it on a 6 foot length of straight flex track using roller auto pulse trans amp 1 dc power pack from 1979 and ran smooth but with slight wobble. I do not know if and how this can be fixed.
