It was an extremely successful design. For the first time in paragon 3 series, Bali is bringing out usra light and heavy designs, commonly called mikados. Railroad specific variations are not model ed on these locomotives. As for the usra light mikados, built 625 total, with 641 copies after ended control.

The usra heavy mikados used pretty much same running gear as light mik's, but boilers were 10 inches larger in diameter and they had cylinders well. This item is brand new, never been out of the box. With copies, over 50 railroads used the usra light 2-8-2's.

Photos may show a different road number for reference only. Tr active effort was about 10 higher for the heavy 2-8-2's. Bliss model's follow the original designs closely.
