It was not made for many years and is overly easy to come by. The box is in fair to good condition with two spots where someone tore price tags off, and end of stock number faded slightly from being exposed sun. But also, it may be costly if you do not.

It would make an excellent addition to either your Mantua, tyco, or great northern train collection.

The engine is in excellent condition, nothing broken or missing and appears to have been used very little, if at all. This engine was made in the USA late 1970s after Mantua started up its American production again.

Mantua ran all of their locomotives at the plant before boxing them, so unless engine were used a lot, it is not easy to tell from wheels if this after was purchased or. Unlike the earlier Mantua tyco diesels that had riveted retainer plates, this later engine has a screw on plate makes it easy to lube and service.

This offer is for a tyco Mantua great northern f7 diesel locomotive in the less common sky blue paint scheme. The engine is stock number, and in original box. I have lubed and track tested the engine it lights is running well.
