Also included in the box is a pair of grain wheat lights, presumably to install headlight and rear tender light. The box has 2 stickers. It should make a great addition to your collection and or layout. It was made by united scale model's of japan operated and imported Pacific Fast Mail 1954-date.
I tested the loco on a short section of track and it ran very well quiet in f r, even at low speeds. I have seen other model's pictured online including that did not a tag. One inside the box lid states that loco is equipped with a Pittman motor. I am offering this hard to find older model ho scale brass consolidation steam locomotive with oil tender of the union Pacific ry.
The protective wrappings are made of old paper material. Another on the outside says Pittman dc-70 motor is used in this model. Ry was how railway abbreviated. I have the original box with some staining but, very little shelf wear see pictures.
I don't think it means the motor was not new. It is tagged on the bottom as this an ex loco and tender with mild discoloring of brass. No apparent flaws.
